Job summary

RTX in Singapore seeks an engineering undergraduate for an onsite role focused on data-driven distress analysis and engine component work. You will support APAC data collection, component investigations, and repair strategies while learning calibration and testing in a fast-paced lab environment.

As part of the STA Lab projects, you will contribute to CORE, GT Compliance, and EH&S programs, while following SOPs and developing hands-on expertise in engine systems.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student pursuing an engineering degree or equivalent, with interest in machinery and components.
• Interest in data analysis and repair processes.
• Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Proactive, learning mindset, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Help trend hardware distress locally to identify needed limits/repairs and input to spare provisioning based on observed distress trending.
• Assist the APAC team with data collection on engine components for engine investigation and salvage programs.
• Research operating environments and functionality of components and develop strategies to return damaged parts to service.
• Support calibration of tools in ELMT APAC.
• Assist in Proof of Concept projects in the STA Lab.
• Contribute to CORE, GT Compliance, Ethics & Compliance, and EH&S programs.
