Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Director to lead our integrated operations, maintenance, and engineering project teams across regional jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in tunnel and rail transit maintenance, civil engineering works, project operations, and safety management. This leadership role oversees multi-country engineering portfolios, drives operational excellence, and ensures successful execution of large-scale infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Engineering & Project Leadership
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of civil engineering, tunnel maintenance, and structural enhancement projects.
- Oversee end-to-end project management, ensuring scope, budget, safety, and quality targets are met.
- Provide technical direction for engineering methods, maintenance strategies, and reinforcement solutions.
2. Operations & Maintenance Management
- Manage multi-site O&M bases, ensuring efficient operations across all integrated maintenance facilities.
- Oversee maintenance activities for rail transit networks, tunnels, viaducts, stations, and drainage systems.
- Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and maintenance innovation.
3. Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Lead company-wide safety governance, including risk assessments, site inspections, and safety protocol implementation.
- Oversee quality control operations and ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a strong culture of safety and quality across all engineering teams.
4. Resource, Schedule & Asset Management
- Manage production schedules, manpower allocation, and project resource planning.
- Oversee equipment utilization, asset tracking, and materials management.
- Ensure timely project progress, milestone achievement, and operational readiness.
5. Business & Stakeholder Management
- Engage with government agencies, rail operators, and project owners to maintain strong client relationships.
- Provide leadership for overseas and domestic engineering business operations.
- Lead project negotiations, contract management, and tender support where required.
6. Innovation & Technology Advancement
- Drive the adoption of advanced technologies (e.g., smart supervision systems, analytical pixelization, robotics) to enhance engineering performance.
- Evaluate and implement new engineering solutions and maintenance methodologies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Applied Chemistry, or related discipline.
- Minimum 20 years of engineering experience in civil works, tunnel maintenance, rail transit projects, and structural enhancement.
- Proven track record in leadership roles such as Director, Department Head, or equivalent senior engineering management.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-country engineering portfolios.
- Strong knowledge of operations & maintenance management, safety governance, and quality systems.
- Experience managing large-scale, long-term infrastructure maintenance contracts.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
