Job summary

Celestica is seeking an entry-level hardware testing technician to join its engineering team in Singapore. The role focuses on server testing, Unix command execution, software loading, and diagnostic execution to support failure analysis.

You will assist engineers with pilot runs, production tracking, and order re-configurations while maintaining 5S standards and cross-functional collaboration to optimize production workflows.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Basic familiarity with server hardware and Unix/Linux terminal navigation.
• Ability to read basic schematics and use hand tools safely.
• Strong detail orientation, quick learning, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support server testing, execute Unix commands, and perform software loading.
• Run diagnostics, identify error codes, perform rework, and assist Failure Analysis.
• Assist engineers with pilot runs, daily production tracking, and order re-configurations.
• Maintain 5S standards, line compliance, and equipment storage.
• Collaborate on Kaizen initiatives and CR projects to optimize workflows and improve operations.
• Log daily test results, track tickets, and update cross-functional teams via MS Office and messaging tools.
• Maintain 5S standards and handle daily/weekly reporting and ticketing.
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Job Description

• Support server testing, execute Unix terminal commands, and perform software loading.

• Log daily test results, track tickets, and update cross-functional teams via MS Office and messaging tools.
• Maintain 5S standards, line compliance, equipment/WIP storage, and handle daily/weekly reporting and ticketing.
• Any other ad-hoc task as assigned

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering fields.
• Technical Skills: Basic familiarity with server hardware, Unix/Linux terminal navigation, and standard diagnostic testing.
