Job summary

A leading inspection technology firm in Singapore seeks a Technical Support Engineer to be responsible for repair, maintenance, and calibration of Analytical Instruments and Non-destructive Testing products. The ideal candidate has a diploma in engineering, at least 5 years of related experience, and strong customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce ERP is essential. This role involves generating quotes, producing service reports, and providing field support when necessary.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the Job

As a technical support engineer, the role is responsible for the repair serivice, maintenance and calibration of mainly 2 product lines with the company. The product lines are:

  • Analytical Instruments (ANI)
  • Non-destructive Testing (NDT)

The role requires generating quotation and service report to customers. There may be time where field support is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support repair, maintenance and calibration for Analytical Instruments (ANI) and Non-destructive Testing (NDT) products.
  • Develop good customers relationship to enhance business opportunities.
  • When necessary, visiting customers sites to carry out further diagnostics and repair work to return customer systems to good working prder.
  • Generate quotation and service reports too custmers.
  • Provids technical support to the Sales Teams for theh potential sales of new instruments, including answering technical questions and occasionally running instrument demos.
  • Exhibit good attitudes of Teamwork.
Formal Qualifications
  • Min Diploma in Engineering.
Key Skills / Core Competencies
  • Highly organized with strong customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and its applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Collaborative team player with a strong “can-do” attitude
