Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to identify the need, follow through product’s requirement and specifications at the right quality.

  • Responsible to source, negotiate, purchase, monitor, manage and improve require delivery time at a cost-effective saving ways.

  • Assist and support to spear head on all cost saving and reduction program and activities.

  • Expedite, including and not limiting to interface with local and overseas suppliers for any contractual agreement and urgent requirement.

  • Establish and maintain communication, working closely with internal customers to meet tight timeline.

  • Pre-qualify, evaluate and assessed suppliers‘ performance to meet company’s requirements.

  • All other procurement activities including of price calculation, discounts or freight charges prior to generate and process purchase orders, follow up with good credit terms negotiation and application, resolution of invoicing discrepancies from suppliers, and maintaining of Approved Vendors List.

  • Maintain and updates all related documents and data that will support procurements activities and management administratively, conformity, legality and commercially.

  • Additional responsibilities and job scope to be assigned from time to time by immediate superior.

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent.

  • With technical knowledge in:

Position 1: LAN

Technical knowledge in Local Area Network (LAN) / Wide Area Network (WAN) / Structured Cabling / Fiber Optic Network System / Optic Terminal Network System / Synchronous Digital Hierarchy System / Synchronous Optical Network System / Video Conference System.

Position 2: Security

Technical knowledge in Access Control System / CCTV System / Intrusion Detection System / PABX (VoIP) / Person On Board (POB).

  • Min. of 2 year working experience.

  • Knowledge of computer software application. E.g. word, excel.

  • Able to handle General Administration.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and hands-on, positive work attitude.

  • Technical knowledge will be an advantage.
