A leading technology company based in Singapore is seeking a technician for service and technical support. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Electronics or a related field and has at least 3 years of experience in the RF or Wireless industry. Job description

This role is based at our Loyang (East) Office.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure service jobs (depot and on-site) are accomplished to meet committed turnaround time and quality objectives
• Work in the service department and customer site, repair / calibrate equipment and provide technical support for Rohde & Schwarz products
• Repair equipment with ideally zero return
• Site troubleshooting, repair and calibration
• Provide technical support to other service center/subsidiaries
• Optimize service process and asset utilization
• Ensure traceability of service work
• Conduct regional service training to internal Rohde & Schwarz stakeholders
• Evaluate new product service capability
• Comply to ISO 9001 standard requirement
• Other duties or tasks as assigned on an as-needed basis

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Electronics / Communication Engineering or relevant field of studies
• Minimum 3-year work experiences in RF or Wireless industry
• Preferably has experience with Test & Measurement equipment
• Strong Test & Measurement technologies knowledge
• Strong RF knowledge and good concept of metrology
• Strong analytical skill, service mindset, culture & qualities
• Good soldering skillsSelf-motivated and initiative
• Good communication & interpersonal skills
• Willing to travel to customer site
