The successful candidate will manage project teams, ensure specifications are met, and coordinate activities. Job Summary

The Project Engineer interfaces between the customer, sales and the engineering team to ensure successful project delivery. He / she leads and manages a Project Implementation team to implement projects according to specifications, on time and within the project budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and draft project plans covering budget, resources and timeline for all projects.
  • Negotiate and finalize customer requirements and project specifications and manage customer expectations.
  • Monitor project execution process and manage a project team to ensure timely implementation and completion of projects.
  • Analyze project risks and plan alternatives for problem resolution.
  • Coordinate project activities in all phases from initiation till closure.
  • Problem-solve any issues related to project.
  • Manage all stakeholders related to project.
  • Perform post-mortem analysis for cost and time reduction, and improved efficiency.
  • Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in mechatronics, mechanical, electrical or related engineering field.

2. 3+ years project management experience preferred.

3. Certification as a project management professional (PMP) is preferred.

4. Successful track records in leading and executing projects with multi-disciplinary teams.

5. Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills

6. Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the hierarchy through presentations, verbally and via written reports.

7. Overseas travel will be required when assigned to manage projects overseas.
