Job summary

Exentec Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Process Engineer to join our site team. You will ensure that schedule and quality requirements are met for all tasks, maintain safety standards, and drive reliability across process equipment.

You will oversee maintenance planning, lead technicians, review reports, support startups and commissioning, and contribute to risk assessments and site audits to sustain safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical/ Mechatronic/ Electromechanical) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3~4 years working experience in the related field

Responsibilities

• Ensure Safety, SOP and PPE are always followed.
• Plan, schedule and perform predictive and corrective maintenance
• Lead Shift Technicians in the timely completion of all required tasks
• Lead startup, commissioning, installation of gas cabinets, VMB & panel and process systems

We are looking for a Process Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring that the schedule and quality requirements are met for all tasks assigned to them.

Job Duties Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Ensure Safety, SOP and PPE are always followed.
• Responsible for troubleshooting equipment failures
• Plan, schedule and perform predictive and corrective maintenance
• Ensure accurate and updated maintenance records.
• Provide and reviewed maintenance report
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures
• Perform FMEAs and implement solutions
• Manage spare parts inventory
• Lead Shift Technicians in the timely completion of all required tasks
• Training of technicians/ customer personnel on equipment, operation and maintenance
• Ensure high standard on safety and housekeeping and assist in such audits
• Generate reports and presentations on all related activities
• Lead startup, commissioning, installation of gas cabinets, VMB &panel and process systems
• Involved in improvement plan
• 24-hour standby for emergency activation or shutdown
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties when necessary.
• Participation and involve in site during updating - Near Miss reporting / Operation Readiness Inspection / OPHR (Operation Hazard Review)/ Risk Assessment / Emergency Preparedness Planning / FMEA
• Assisting the Site Manager in supervising and overseeing the TGM operation.
• Responsible for overseeing the contractors’ work to ensure it is done according to requirements.
• Responsible for daily audits/ roaming check and ensure tidiness of all rooms and systems, quality of alarms and other operational activities and ensure Preventive Maintenance (PMs) are completed.
• To report all the near miss in timely manner to ensure smooth operation
• Responsible for auditing training documents, ensuring their accuracy and sufficiency.
• Provide a job system for the new employees
• Assist in operation when required. E.x monitoring SCADA, performing PMs or troubleshooting, cyl change, etc.
• Be the point of contact with the customers when required.
• Responsible for implementing all necessary safety practices when contractors and TGM staff carry out their work tasks. Consult the Safety officer about any unknown safety issues and any updates.
• Organize mock drills with consultation of safety officer
• Generate internal SOPs with MOC when required.
• Responsible to be on site during any supply interruption and create incident report.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties when necessary.
