A leading marine engineering company in Singapore is seeking a qualified individual to handle customer interactions regarding ship defects, prepare reports, and coordinate with the production team. Candidates should hold a degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering and possess a positive attitude. The role involves project participation and ensuring safety compliance. This position offers a 5-day work week and daily transportation reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Able to read simple drawings and service reports.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers regarding ship defects and related issues.
• Prepare service acceptances and reports after defect rectification.
• Plan and schedule jobs for the production team.
• Monitor jobs to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Involve in meeting with customers related to ship defect & other related issues.
• To prepare service acceptances, reports upon completion of defect rectification.
• Involve in planning, scheduling & giving of jobs to production team daily.
• Able to provide suggestions/ideas to assist customers in solving problems
• Monitoring of jobs to ensure on time completion
• Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering
• Understanding of basic principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating will be an advantage.
