Job summary

SCIENTE in Singapore is seeking a Software Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in .NET, Java, React or Next.js to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and services across the full development lifecycle.

You will work with designers, product managers, and other engineers, write clean, testable code, participate in reviews, and continuously learn new technologies, including AI-assisted development tools, to improve product quality and productivity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on software development.

Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience in .NET / Java / React or Next.js (or similar modern tech stacks). Should be comfortable working across the full development lifecycle, from design to deployment.

Mandatory Skill-set

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
• Strong programming experience in .NET / Java / React / Next.js (or similar frameworks);
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles;
• Experience in RESTful APIs and web services;
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code;
• Self-driven attitude with willingness to learn and adapt;

Desired Skill-set

• Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, or IDE-integrated AI tools beyond chat-based usage).
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (beyond basic chat-based usage) will be considered a strong plus.
