Job description

Make An Impact
  • Partner with Engineering team and the Vendors to develop and validate network design for infrastructure and services.
  • Manage the resources required for the service integration and network consolidation projects and be responsible for the execution of the project implementation.
  • Work with the team to operate the IP transport network, inclusive of the network resource monitoring, network optimization.
  • Plan and execute the network changes of expansion, optimization, and upgrade, to meet the service needs and requirements.
  • Take the proactive measures to prevent service difficulties and quick reaction with the relevant stake holders for efficient solutions for fault cases, as well the follow-ups of remedies.
  • Validate and review the MOP (Method of Procedure) for each Change Request to ensure the smooth service change.
  • Service impact analyses on scheduled service changes / faults / outage, and inform the relevant stake holders.
  • Provide the network monitoring reports, the network health reports, and analyse the trends and provide suggestions for improvement.
  • Prepare the budgets and track the expenditures.
  • Perform the other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.
Skills for Success
  • Degree in Engineering/ Telecommunication/ Electrical/ Electronic or relevant.
  • 5 years of relevant working experience in Telecom industry.
  • Good technical skills of IP concept of LAN, WAN, VPN, and the relevant network protocols, such OSPF, ISIS, BGP, SRv6, DHCP and Dark Fibre, Structured Cabling.
  • Project experience with multi-vendor interoperability and development for provisioning of L2 and L3 services.
