Job summary
An engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced HVAC professional to plan and supervise installations. The role includes reviewing drawings, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Candidates should have a degree in engineering and 2-5 years of experience in construction, preferably in semiconductor or commercial sectors. Strong communication skills in English and Chinese are required.
Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise HVAC system installation.

- Working Hours: 5 days per week (Mon to Fri: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise HVAC system installation including ducting, chilled water piping, AHUs, FCUs, exhaust systems, and BMS interfaces
- Review HVAC shop drawings, technical submissions, and material samples to ensure compliance with design requirements and client specifications
- Coordinate with M&E consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues on-site
- Ensure that HVAC works are executed in accordance with project specifications, codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Attend site meetings and inspections with clients and relevant authorities
- Monitor work progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager
- Support testing and commissioning activities including air balancing, leak testing, and cleanroom readiness
- Maintain proper documentation for QA/QC records, inspection checklists, and as-built drawings
- Any ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirement:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant Engineering discipline
- Minimum 2–5 years of working experience in construction projects, preferably in semiconductor/industrial/commercial building sectors.
- Familiar with project planning tools and construction drawings
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Good communication, reading, and writing skills in both English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese associate
- Candidates with strong experience will be considered for a higher-level position, with salary adjusted accordingly
