Job description

On behalf of the hiring company, which is a market leader in the energy sector, we are looking for a suitable candidate to join them as an Engineer/Executive Engineer (Fuel & Material Handling)

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading a team of Technical Officers and Technicians on the daily Plant operation, to troubleshoot and follow up on equipment breakdown
• Assist in planning, developing operational solutions, and keeping documentation records on operational activities, training, and safety issues
• Assist in liaising and follow up with fuel suppliers, service providers, and contractors to ensure no interruption to fuel supplies and meet operational requirements
• Liaise with various maintenance teams on the maintenance schedule of the equipment
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
• Purchasing of spares, equipment, services, and contract management
• Provide technical support in a new project undertaken by the Company

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering
• Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience
• A class 3 driving license is preferred
• Experience in material handling, power, utilities, petrochemical, or process Plants will be an advantage
• Working Hours: 8.15 am - 5.30 pm (Monday - Friday)
• Company transport provided at Choa Chu Kang (7.20 am) and Jurong East (7.15 am) MRT stations
