A leading marine classification society is seeking an Engineer (Electrical, Automation and Systems) to work on advancing technologies in the marine sector. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience. You will perform detailed engineering reviews, draft reports, and collaborate with global clients on complex engineering challenges. This full-time position is based in Singapore and offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in a dynamic environment.
It is an exciting time in the marine and offshore industry. The industry is undergoing great change where new technologies are being applied in ship’s systems such as advanced automation, new battery chemistries, all-electric vessels, cyber resilience, smart and autonomous functions. This job will provide the successful candidate a first-hand experience in the advancement taking place in the industry.
We are looking for engineers who enjoy engineering challenges, are creative, self-motivated and meticulous. You will need to understand engineering drawings and documents, evaluate the systems in accordance with ABS Rules and international shipping regulations and propose practical solutions.
You will work with engineers across disciplines (e.g. structures, mechanical, piping and cyber security) in a diverse, global and fast-paced environment.
