Job summary

A leading technology solutions provider in Singapore seeks a technical service support professional. The role involves traveling to customer sites for installation and maintenance of company products, as well as creating quotes and technical documentation. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical) and possess strong computer skills. Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in related field preferred, although fresh graduates will also be considered.
  • Ability to interpret electrical circuit diagrams.
  • Familiarity with machinery SMT/clean-room environment.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning, and repairs.
  • Create quotes and follow up with order entries.
  • Submit service reports and warranty claims.
  • Assist sales team with activities when required.
  • Report service activities to the Service Manager.

Job description
JobSummary and Key Objectives:

To provide a good technical service support to customers to achieve company’s goals and objective and supporting company’s business growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to customer site to perform installation, commissioning, field retrofit, calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repairs of company products.
  • Creating quotes (Spare Parts/Service) and follow up with order entry and delivery.
  • Submit warranty claims to headquarters.
  • Prepare and submit service report to customer on-site. Prepare and submit technical documents such as commissioning/Installation reports, calibration reports, preventive maintenance reports to customers.
  • Able to work with Sales team to support for some sales activities when required.
  • Timely report to Service Manager on all service activities situation and updates.

This is a role that requires candidate to be self-orientated and independent.

Able to handle customer questions relating to technical and service problems with tactful manner and courtesy. And thus, built good rapport with customers.

Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2-3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is preferred, though fresh graduates will also be considered.
  • Required Skill(s): Computer, Microsoft Office.
  • Able to travel Overseas and on short notice occasionally.
  • Preferably specialized in Field Service for SMT and Semiconductor Equipment/Machinery.
  • Able to interpret electrical circuit diagram.
  • Will willing to work on standby mode by rotations.
  • Able to work hands‑on and familiar to work in machinery SMT/clean‑room environment.
  • Local/Overseas Training will be provided.
