A construction company in Singapore is seeking a qualified Site Engineer to monitor site work, provide technical guidance, ensure quality, and manage documentation. The ideal candidate has a B.Sc. in Engineering and relevant experience. Strong English communication skills are required, with Mandarin as a plus. This role involves coordination with various stakeholders and compliance with safety regulations.
Monitor day-to-day site work to ensure progress follows the project schedule.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues promptly.
Interpret structural, architectural, and MEP drawings.
Provide technical guidance to site teams and foremen.
Assist in design reviews and propose engineering solutions if discrepancies arise.
Conduct inspections for concrete, steel, finishing works, and installations.
Prepare and maintain quality documentation and inspection reports.
Work with WSH Officers to implement safety measures.
Conduct toolbox meetings and assist in safety audits.
Assist in project scheduling, resource planning, and tracking progress.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Support project managers in planning work sequences and logistics.
Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and work procedures.
Handle submissions to BCA, PUB, LTA, SCDF, architects, and consultants.
Manage materials approval, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
Manage material requisitions and coordinate deliveries.
Inspect materials for compliance with specifications.
Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers.
Assist QS team with measurements and progress claims.
Provide support for variation orders and change requests.
Monitor productivity and report potential cost-related issues.
Working hours: 8am to 9pm.
