Job summary

Job description
Job Responsibilities
  1. Site Supervision & Coordination

    Monitor day-to-day site work to ensure progress follows the project schedule.

    Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.

    Attend site meetings and resolve technical issues promptly.

  2. Technical & Engineering Support

    Interpret structural, architectural, and MEP drawings.

    Provide technical guidance to site teams and foremen.

    Assist in design reviews and propose engineering solutions if discrepancies arise.

  3. Quality Control & Compliance

    Conduct inspections for concrete, steel, finishing works, and installations.

    Prepare and maintain quality documentation and inspection reports.

  4. Safety Management (WSH Compliance)

    Work with WSH Officers to implement safety measures.

    Conduct toolbox meetings and assist in safety audits.

  5. Project Planning & Reporting

    Assist in project scheduling, resource planning, and tracking progress.

    Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

    Support project managers in planning work sequences and logistics.

  6. Documentation & Permit Management

    Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and work procedures.

    Handle submissions to BCA, PUB, LTA, SCDF, architects, and consultants.

    Manage materials approval, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.

  7. Material & Resource Management

    Manage material requisitions and coordinate deliveries.

    Inspect materials for compliance with specifications.

    Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers.

  8. Cost & Contract Support

    Assist QS team with measurements and progress claims.

    Provide support for variation orders and change requests.

    Monitor productivity and report potential cost-related issues.

Qualifications
  • Site Engineer, Project Engineer or similar role.
  • Civil & Structural Engineer or Textile Engineer background.
  • B.Sc. Engineering or related.
  • Strong communication in English; Mandarin beneficial for subcontractor coordination.
  • Ability to work under tight timelines and multi-discipline coordination.
Working Time

Working hours: 8am to 9pm.
