Project Coordination & Support
- Assist the Project Manager in the daily management of construction projects, ensuring alignment with the approved schedule, budget and design.
- Perform geotechnical and civil design, analysis, and assessment for ground improvement works, foundations, excavations, ERSS, slopes, instrumentation, and site investigation.
- Coordinate and monitor the work of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines.
- Review and ensure the technical accuracy of project drawings, plans, and construction documents.
- Collaborate with architects and designers to implement changes or adjustments to plans as required during construction.
- Coordinate the resolution of any technical challenges with relevant parties to minimize project disruptions.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our geotechnical engineering processes and procedures.
Quality Assurance & Control
- Conduct site inspections to monitor quality, adherence to technical specifications, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Resolve technical issues that arise during the construction phase and provide solutions to prevent project delays.
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures and safety standards on-site to maintain the highest standards of work.
Procurement & Material Management
- Assist in the procurement of materials, tools, and equipment required for the project, ensuring timely delivery and cost-efficiency.
- Track inventory levels and assist in managing material stocks to avoid delays or shortages during the construction process.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain accurate project records, including progress reports, site diaries, and other necessary documentation.
- Track and report any changes to the scope of work and help ensure that changes are properly documented and communicated to all relevant parties.
- Assist in preparing and submitting reports to the Project Manager, clients, and stakeholders.
- Highlighting progress, challenges, and upcoming milestones.
Qualifications / Skills
- Education: Diploma and above (Engineer / Geoscience)
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
