Job summary

A leading energy recruitment firm is seeking a RISK ANALYST to join their office in Singapore. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in risk analysis, with strong analytical skills and experience in commodity trading systems. This role involves supporting risk management teams and generating reports to evaluate trading risks. The ideal applicant will possess excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong background in finance or economics.

Qualifications

• Degree holders in Economics, Finance (preferred major in statistics in Math).
• Minimum 5 years experience in Risk Analyst role.
• Experience with Triple Point Commodity XL System or Endure in Openlink.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills and able to perform under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support the Risk Management team on trading (Paper & Physical).
• Generate report on daily basis with forward curves for trade evaluation.
• Monitor Mark to Market & VAR positions and advise management on trading risk exposures.
• Ensure accuracy of information and reconcile differences between offices.
