Baringa is actively seeking a motivated energy sector consultant to join our Energy Strategy and Commercial Advisory practice in Singapore. You will collaborate with market specialists and help clients navigate the energy transition, optimise strategies, assess opportunities and develop new business models across dynamic markets.

This role emphasizes strong problem-solving, data analysis and clear communication, with a focus on career development, teamwork, and delivering high-impact outcomes

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally within a management consultancy or an internal strategy role within the energy sector.
• Strong aptitude for structured problem-solving and analysis, with the ability to explain methods clearly.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; effective team player.
• Passion for energy and energy decarbonisation.

Responsibilities

• Advising investors, developers, utilities, corporates and governments on strategic decisions across the energy transition.
• Supporting clients to evaluate opportunities across power, gas and energy infrastructure markets.
• Developing market outlooks and growth strategies in rapidly evolving energy markets.
• Helping large energy users develop and implement decarbonisation, electrification and energy procurement strategies.
• Advising on regulatory change and policy development across APAC markets.
