Job summary

A leading tech support firm in Singapore is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide end-user computing support across various technologies. The role involves diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues, maintaining documentation, and coordinating desktop-related projects. Ideal candidates will have strong troubleshooting, customer service skills, and familiarity with desktop hardware. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently for timely solutions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, install, configure, and resolve complex desktop, OS, application, hardware, and remote access issues.
  • Provide hands-and-eyes support for basic network equipment and connectivity.
  • Plan and support desktop lifecycle management (procurement, refresh, disposal).
  • Coordinate and support desktop-related projects, installations, moves, adds, and changes.
  • Act as a technical liaison between users, vendors, and IT teams.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision to deliver timely solutions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, asset inventory, and ticket updates.
