Job summary

E-BRIDGE PRE-SCHOOL PTE. LTD. is seeking a Learning Support Educator to address educational and social needs of children under care in a preschool setting. You will assess children with learning and developmental issues using prescribed screening tools and provide differentiated intervention plans.

You will work with families and pre-schools, develop Child Specific Education Plans when needed, and deliver in-class support to ensure goals are achieved and generalized into classroom activities.

Qualifications

• Specialist Diploma in Early Childhood Learning Support or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in early childhood sector as Learning Support Educator.
• Good communication skills and ability to engage children.

Responsibilities

• Meet overall educational and social needs of children under your care.
• Assess children with learning and developmental issues using prescribed screening tools.
• Provide differentiated intervention approaches for educational needs, behavior, social and social communication skills.
• Develop Child Specific Education Plans where needed and progress reports to your superior.
• Conduct intervention through support packages to DS-LS children.
• Work cooperatively with families and pre-schools to support learning and development.
• Provide in-class support to DS-LS children and ensure goals are achieved and generalized into classroom sessions.
