Job summary

Maybank Singapore is seeking a Cyber Emerging Threats Analyst to assess how emerging technologies and threat actors may affect the Bank’s control environment. You will provide independent, forward-looking insights on emerging cyber risks, control gaps, and opportunities to strengthen resilience.

Join a newly established function to shape cyber assurance, translate threats into actionable risk scenarios, and present findings to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline with 4 to 10 years of experience in two or more areas.
• Experience in banking, financial services, consulting or regulated industries is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the global cyber threat landscape and identify new and emerging threats.
• Conduct horizon scanning and identify risks before they materialise into security incidents.
• Translate emerging threats into practical risk scenarios and remediation recommendations.
• Conduct independent assessments of the Bank's preparedness against emerging cyber threats.
• Develop executive-level threat intelligence and emerging risk reports for senior management.
