Job summary

A global banking institution in Singapore is seeking a professional responsible for assisting the EM Trading/GMD trading team in managing trading risks and client requirements. The ideal candidate will execute transactions, provide pricing on derivatives, manage trading products, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Strong analytical skills and a degree in a Mathematical or Scientific field are preferred. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with diverse teams in a dynamic trading environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in trading and risk managing a trading book is preferred.
• Capacity to develop and learn financial derivatives including market liquidity.
• Ability to prioritize in busy trading situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing pricing on derivatives market.
• Execute transactions accurately in accordance with risk management procedures.
• Timely record and enter transactions into trading systems.
• Ensure adherence with regard to position and risk limits.

Skills

Ability to think quickly

Strong numeracy skills

Analysis and spreadsheet skills

Understanding of pricing in IRS and FXswap

Education

Degree or equivalent experience in a Mathematical/Scientific area
