Job summary

A leading consultancy firm in Singapore seeks an experienced emergency response specialist to coordinate firefighting and emergency incidents. The candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in emergency response and be willing to work shifts. A competitive remuneration package and comprehensive benefits are included.

Job description

Respond to emergency and abnormal situation as appropriate (Odour, Fire, Gas, Chemical/Water Leak, Spills, etc).

Response, Contained, Mitigate and Recovery during any emergency situation.

Command and control of the emergency response incident scene and coordinates the activities of all emergency responders.

Assist in evacuation, first aid & rescue and mitigation operations, decontamination of personnel and equipment.

Prevent or minimize human, environment and assets lost damage during emergency.

Prevent and minimize the need of external supports/activation.

Perform site investigation, interview and prepare report for all incidents attended.

Providing support to external authority for mitigation of the emergency situation.

Pass down and presentation of preliminary investigation report to Safety department.

Clean, Inspect and maintain emergency response equipment.

Monthly ERT cabinets inspection to ensure all Emergency equipments are in good working condition at all times.

Monthly Spill cabinets inspection.

Monthly First Aid Box, First Aid Bags and wheelchairs inspection to ensure all First Aid item are in good working condition.

Monthly Poncho box inspection.

Perform area or equipment decontamination.

Daily scheduled site inspection to look out for unsafe act, unsafe condition in building to ensure that the human, environment and assets are safe for work.

Assist EHSS for high risk activities such as Lifting, Confined Space, Work-At Height.

Support MHRI, CERT and days drills conducted by safety department.

Record, update and upload of reports into system.

Taking part in SGFPC CERT.
