Job summary

CHA SMG IVF CENTRE PTE. LTD. is seeking an Embryologist to perform assisted reproduction laboratory procedures with strict MOH compliance and clinic protocols.

You will handle sperm preparation, oocyte handling, fertilisation, embryo culture, grading, and embryo transfer support to enable successful treatments. Qualifications

• Degree in Biological Sciences, Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Postgraduate qualification or formal training in Embryology.
• Prior experience in an IVF or assisted reproduction laboratory.
• Experience with IVF, ICSI, embryo culture, and cryopreservation.
• Strong attention to detail and proficient laboratory skills.
• Clear communication and teamwork within multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with MOH requirements for assisted reproduction centres.

Responsibilities

• Perform embryology laboratory procedures including sperm preparation, oocyte handling, fertilisation (IVF/ICSI), embryo culture, grading, and embryo transfer support to facilitate successful assisted reproduction.
• Conduct cryopreservation and thawing of sperm, oocytes, and embryos to preserve reproductive materials effectively.
• Monitor embryo development daily and maintain accurate laboratory records to ensure quality and traceability.
• Ensure proper labelling, traceability, and documentation of all samples to maintain compliance and sample integrity.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, culture systems, and environmental monitoring records to support optimal laboratory conditions.
• Ensure compliance with MOH regulations, laboratory SOPs, and assisted reproduction licensing requirements to uphold safety and legal standards.
• Support audits, inspections, and quality assurance activities to maintain laboratory accreditation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with fertility doctors, IVF nurses, and clinic coordinators to coordinate patient care and laboratory processes.
