Pentas Vision PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an AI Research Intern to support ongoing research in simulation and real-world robotics, helping validate sensors and algorithms in embodied AI tasks.

You will explore embodied AI algorithms, sensor fusion, and sim-to-real transfer, with exposure to MuJoCo, PyBullet, ROS, and deep learning frameworks; ideal for graduate students pursuing ML/robotics.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of deep learning architectures and RL/IL exposure.
• Knowledge of multimodal perception and sensor fusion.
• Experience integrating sensors or ROS pipelines.
• Experience with at least one simulation framework (MuJoCo, Isaac Sim, PyBullet).
• Proficiency in Python with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Research Exploration: Contribute to embodied AI algorithms focusing on multimodal sensing.
• Sensor-Algorithm Integration: Incorporate sensor signals into learning frameworks for control and perception.
• Simulation Studies: Design experiments in simulation to evaluate embodied AI approaches.
• Sim-to-Real Transfer: Investigate transferring policies from simulation to real robots.
