Job summary

NSING, part of Nations Technologies Group, Singapore R&D Center, seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to application test software, device drivers and customer reference software across SoC development, FPGA prototyping, post-silicon validation and customer applications.

You will collaborate with SoC design and verification teams, participate in design reviews, develop hardware abstraction layer drivers and a production-ready SDK, and help validate IP on FPGA and silicon while

Responsibilities

• Develop application test software, device drivers and customer reference software for SoC projects.
• Work with SoC Design and Verification teams to create comprehensive validation test plans.
• Participate in SoC design reviews to understand the chip in depth.
• Participate in PCB design reviews to provide software-oriented requirements.
• Develop Hardware Abstraction Layer drivers for in-house testing and production SDKs.
• Validate new and existing hardware IP on FPGA prototypes and silicon.
• Validate system-level performance and robustness of the SoC.
• Collaborate with Product and Application teams to develop software for customer reference designs (motor controls, HMI, Edge ML).

Your Role

• As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development of application test software, device drivers and customer reference software. You will be working in various aspects of the SoC development in FPGA prototyping, post silicon validation and customer reference applications.
• Work closely with SoC Design and Verification engineers to develop a comprehensive and complimentary validation test plan.
• Participate in SoC design reviews to have in-depth understanding of the chip.
• Participate in PCB design review to provide requirements from software perspectives.
• Develop Hardware Abstract layer drivers for in-house testing as well as production ready SDK for customers.
• Validate new and existing hardware IP on FPGA prototype and actual silicon.
• Validate system level performance and test for robustness of SoC.
• Working with Product and Application team to develop software for the customer reference design in areas such as motor controls, Human Machine Interface (GPU), Edge Machine Learning applications.
