Job summary

Capgemini Singapore is seeking an Embedded Engineer for a fixed-term contract to support lifecycle maintenance and continuous improvement of embedded products. You will investigate customer-reported issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement firmware enhancements while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in embedded/firmware engineering, strong C/C++ skills, and experience with ARM-based MCUs and RTOS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems or firmware engineering.
• Proven experience in developing and supporting real-time embedded systems.
• Experience in product sustenance, customer issue resolution, or continuation engineering is highly desirable.
• Experience in industrial automation, industrial communication products, or control systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support lifecycle maintenance and continuous improvement of released embedded products.

• Develop, implement, and validate firmware enhancements, defect fixes, and product updates.
