Job summary

AUMOVIO seeks a motivated student in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science to evaluate and optimize AI models for embedded hardware. The role focuses on performance under constraints and on implementing AI acceleration for FPGA/MCU platforms.

You will deploy benchmarks, analyze trade-offs between hardware options, and document results to support mobility applications. This hands-on position offers exposure to cutting-edge hardware-software integration.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's student in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proficiency in C/C++; Python is a plus.
• Basic understanding of ML and embedded systems.
• Interest or exposure to FPGA or MCU-based AI acceleration.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate performance of AI/ML models under embedded constraints (latency, memory, power, accuracy).
• Propose and implement embedded AI solutions for FPGA or MCU platforms.
• Deploy and benchmark AI inference on FPGA-based systems and/or updated MCUs.
• Analyze trade-offs between different hardware platforms and optimization approaches.
• Document results and provide clear technical summaries.
