Job summary

People Advantage Pte Ltd is seeking an electroplating operator to multitask from plating to spray painting in a warm environment, using full PPE. The role requires maintaining plating equipment and supporting quality checks according to instructions.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in plating and be able to work rotating shifts. Preference for candidates with NITEC in Precision Engineering and prior electroplating experience.

Qualifications

• Secondary to NITEC qualification in Precision Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of plating experience.
• Knowledge of operating an oven is an added advantage.
• Physically fit & able to work within close proximity of chemical processing.
• Work experience in electroplating is preferred but not necessary.
• Basic command of written and spoken English.
• Perform rotating shifts.
• Able to tolerate high temperature work environment.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operate and maintain electroplating equipment as per Job Instruction Sheet.
• Setup, operate and maintain all measuring equipment, gages and fixtures for making accurate inspection checks as per Plating Master & Manufacturing Engineering folder.
• Read and interpret Job instruction sheet required to carry out work tasks.
• Adhere to EH&S & CORE requirements in the work place, submit Hazard observations, QCPC Turnbacks and Safety Innovative Team Projects every month.
• Work in an orderly fashion keeping work areas, work table, plating table, tools, and fixtures in a tidy and clean condition after used.
• Engage in any other activities or responsibilities as requested by the Supervisor.
• Notify the Supervisor or any machine or tooling problems which could jeopardize product quality or infringe safe work conditions.
