Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is required.
• Master's degree is preferred for advancement.
• A relevant professional license may be required by some employers.

Responsibilities

• Design, inspect, test, and update electronic systems, components, equipment, and software.
• Liaise with engineers, professionals, and clients to ensure projects meet specifications.
• Ensure all equipment and products comply with health and safety regulations.
• Observe existing processes and recommend improvements.
• Develop maintenance, testing, and quality control procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in electronics and show initiative.
• Represent the company at conferences and deliver presentations when required.
• Monitor processes, systems, and staff, identifying problems promptly.
• Establish relationships with staff, vendors, suppliers, and other professionals in the field.
• Write specifications, instructions, reports, and handle other administrative duties.
