Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on electro-mechanical assembler in Loyang on a 12-month contract (renewable/convertible) with training included.

Shifts include AM or PM, with night shift allowance and transport home provided. Duties cover building, repairing and testing assemblies per wiring diagrams, while maintaining a safe workplace. Applicants should have an engineering- related qualification and some intern or training experience.

Qualifications

• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Exposure to assembly tools and manufacturing processes.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting tasks.
• Physically able to handle tools, equipment, and light lifting if required.
• Relevant internship or hands-on training experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies and components using routine work orders and schematics.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair.
• Maintain a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment.
• Promptly report accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety dept.
• Follow operating instructions, use protective equipment when required, and use equipment and materials properly.
• Receive parts and perform audits to ensure all necessary parts are available to perform built, test and repair.
• Inspect parts for defects and perform troubleshooting.
