Responsibilities

• Lay out and install electrical wiring, conduits, and pipes to house cables.
• Connect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components.
• Set up lighting systems, electrical sockets, and appliances.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or breakdowns.
• Replace old or faulty wiring, insulated cables, and circuit boards to prevent system failure.
• Ensure all installations adhere to NEC and local building regulations.
• Diagnose electrical malfunctions using testing devices like voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters.
• Isolate faults and repair or replace damaged parts in motors, generators, and controllers.
• Respond to emergency power failures or equipment breakdowns.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics to understand wiring layouts.
• Prepare sketches or written instructions for installation and repair work.
• Document all servicing information, repairs, and materials used
