Job summary

An electrical maintenance firm in Singapore is looking for a technician to handle routine maintenance of electrical equipment, rectify faults, and assist in system operations. Candidates should have a minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering and 0-3 years of relevant experience in power or process plants. Strong emphasis will be on ensuring safety compliance and effectively coordinating with contract workers. A comprehensive understanding of electrical systems is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 0 to 3 years of relevant working experience in maintenance electrical in power or process plants.
  • Experience in Power / Process Plant operations will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine and maintenance programme of all electrical equipment.
  • Perform rectification of faults on the electrical systems.
  • Assisting engineers in carrying out switching and isolation of low voltage equipment.
  • Monitoring and control of contract workers to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Inspections and acceptance of purchased materials and contract spares.
  • Updating of maintenance records.
  • Co-ordination of work with other sections.
  • Repairing faulty electrical instruments and tools.
  • Reporting unsafe conditions for rectification.

  • Inspections and acceptance of purchased materials and contract spares

  • Updating of maintenance records

  • Co-ordination of work with other sections

  • Repairing faulty electrical instruments and tools

  • Reporting unsafe conditions/ near miss incidents for rectification


Requirements


  • Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

  • Minimum 0 to 3 years of relevant working experience in maintenance electrical in power or process plants environment

  • Experience in Power / Process Plant operations will be advantageous
