Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor equipment or related engineering.
• Experience in motion control or automation systems.
• Strong understanding of AC/DC power distribution systems.
• Experience with PCB integration, I/O systems, frame grabbers, CCD, and A/D modules.
• Knowledge of Ethernet and TCP/IP communication protocols.
• Experience in cable design and documentation.
• Familiarity with electrical safety and regulatory compliance standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with system engineers to define electrical system and subsystem design specifications.
• Design electrical interlock and power distribution systems for semiconductor equipment.
• Manage external vendors and contractors to ensure subsystem compliance with design and reliability requirements.
• Perform system and subsystem integration, testing, and validation.
• Support prototype testing, troubleshooting, and technical analysis.
• Design diagnostic tools and fixtures for manufacturing and field service use.
• Provide escalation support and participate in customer technical discussions (calls and onsite meetings).
• Prepare technical presentations for engineering and customer reviews.
