Job summary
A marine services company in Singapore is seeking a skilled individual for supervising electrical installations in shipyards. The role requires at least 3 years of experience and familiarity with marine operations. Candidates must also hold a safety certification and be able to prepare progress reports and solve electrical issues effectively.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in similar field.
- Experience in Marine Operation and Shipyard environment is necessary.
- Shipyard Supervisor Safety Certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise installation of electrical systems and equipment.
- Conduct electrical tests and inspections.
- Prepare site progress reports and plans.
- Solve problems related to electrical control panels.

Responsibilities:
- Inspection of Erection Control Panels, Cable Trays, Junction box, Cable ladder, Glanding & Termination as Per Drawing.
- Supervise the installation of the following:
- Electrical & Instrumentation panel
- Cable Ladder & Support Fabrication
- Electrical & Instrumentation Cables
- Field Instruments
- Cable Glanding & Termination Works
- Instrument Tubings & Fittings
- Find out & solve the problems on Electrical Control Panel Fault
- Ability to do fabrication & installation of Various Type of Electrical Panel.
- Prepare Site Progress Report and Manpower Planning
- Able to do installation of Marine ICCP, MGPS System.
- Electrical Megger Test, Continuity Test Reporting
- Electrical QC Inspection Activities in accordance to the Project Quality Plan.
- Review of Vendor Documents and Drawings for Electrical System and Devices.
- Plan, coordinate and supervise maintenance activities carried out by the technicians all related equipment and system in order to meet the required specifications and standard.
- Execute all related preventive and corrective maintenance for safe practices in accordance with the code of practice and authority’s requirements and guidelines
- Prepare WCF & MTO Report and submit to the Project Owner & Quantity Surveyor.
- Supervise and Train workers
- Supervise site inspection and resolve site matters pertaining to the project, sub-contractors works and progress of works
- Able to execute Exd & Exe Cable Gland Installation
- Able to do Tubing and Installation
- To supervise and must have knowledge in following:
- Motor Dismantling
- Cleaning
- Heating
- Balancing
- Painting
- Greasing
- Boxup
- Running test
- Vibration test
- Noise Test
- Temperature check
Requirements:
- Atleast 3 years of relevant experience
- With experience in Marine Operation and Shipyard environment
- With Shipyard Supervisor Safety Certification preferred
- Computer Literate
- Able to work overtime and weekends
