Job summary

John Holland Electrical & Service Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced engineer to lead and supervise daily electrical works, including installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of HV/LV/MV/ELV systems on complex projects in Singapore. The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.

Proficient knowledge of electrical regulations, safety standards and AutoCAD/BIM is advantageous for coordinating site teams and ensuring quality

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 　
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in electrical construction, M&E projects and/or maintenance works.
• 　
• Knowledge of HV/LV/MV/ELV systems and electrical installation works.
• 　
• Site coordination, subcontractor supervision, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• 　
• Knowledge of electrical regulations, safety requirements and industry standards.
• 　
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• 　
• Able to work independently and lead a site/maintenance team.
• 　
• AutoCAD/BIM knowledge would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the day-to-day electrical works, including installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of HV/LV/MV/ELV systems.
• 　
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, shop drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• 　
• Coordinate and supervise site teams, technicians and subcontractors to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
• 　
• Monitor site work progress, workmanship and quality to ensure project requirements and schedules are met.
• 　
• Identify discrepancies between electrical drawings and actual site conditions and coordinate with relevant parties for resolution.
• 　
• Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers on site and technical matters.
• 　
• Troubleshoot electrical faults, conduct root cause analysis and coordinate rectification works.
• 　
• Plan and schedule corrective, preventive and ad-hoc maintenance works when required.
• 　
• Attend site coordination meetings and follow up on outstanding issues and work progress.
• 　
• Prepare work proposals, quotations, cost estimates, progress reports, service reports and completion documents as required.
• 　
• Provide technical guidance and support to supervisors, technicians and site teams.
