🔧 Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Coordination
- Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and requirements with engineers and clients.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Conduct site inspections and progress meetings.
2. Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare project budgets and cost estimates.
- Monitor expenses and ensure profitability.
- Approve material purchases and manage procurement schedules.
3. Technical & Quality Oversight
- Ensure all electrical works comply with local codes, safety standards, and design intent.
- Supervise testing and commissioning of systems (e.g., power distribution, lighting, ELV systems, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site.
4. Safety & Compliance
- Enforce workplace safety standards (WSH, risk assessments, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies (e.g., EMA, BCA, SCDF in Singapore).
5. Team Management
- Lead and supervise engineers, supervisors, and electricians.
- Assign tasks and monitor team performance.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical support.
6. Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients and consultants.
- Prepare progress reports and attend coordination meetings.
- Handle variations, change orders, and project claims.
