Job description

Job Scope:

• Responsible in designing & managing Electrical engineering works for FMCS/BMS and ELV Systems (CCTV, Card Access, PA, etc) for the project from concept stage, design development, contract documentation, authority submissions, site administration, and project management to project completion.
• Develop Point Schedule and BQ for FMCS/BMS and ELV Systems, and Control Strategies for different systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, etc).
• Lead and manage the project team including performance appraisal and manpower planning for the project.
• Prepare scope of work, sub-contracts, and customer proposals including Preliminary Design and Tender preparation, submission and Tender Clarification follow up for Electrical works.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets for Mechanical works including equipment selection, etc.
• Review Electrical and Instrument method statement for construction activities and Safe Work Procedure for operational plant & Construction site.
• Provide technical interpretation of design documents in support of installation i.e. Control System Architecture diagram, Process control Philosophy and P&IDs.
• Responsible for Electrical & Instrument System interfaces with the operational plant, meetings, technical clarifications, etc.
• Review all relevant checklist for Inspection and Testing Plan on Electrical & Instrument System Installation.
• Ensure project meets International and Local code requirements.
• Perform Testing & Commissioning works.
• Ownership of all electrical equipment and Instrument Plan and execute scheduled maintenance program for electrical equipment and instruments.
• Provide specific expertise for problem solving of Electrical & Instrumentation issues.
• Monitor and inspect construction to ensure compliance with design documents.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth completion of the project.
• Ensure timely submission of monthly progress claim.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or other equivalent certificates with Design and Build knowledge; able to conduct Engineering Design and Calculation.
• Minimum 3 years’ field experience in Construction/Oil & Gas project management for E&I projects.
• Knowledgeable in construction policies and procedures.
• Excellent understanding of commercial E&I systems and Process Controls.
• Familiar with Singapore Standard on Code of Practice for Electrical Installation.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Good working knowledge in construction contract / commercial term and condition.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English (including technical writing and presentations) with ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and senior management staff.
• Self-driven, meticulous and able to coordinate several activities simultaneously.
• Highly motivated individuals with the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and a dedicated team player.
