Job summary

Qualcomm is seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to lead safe, compliant operation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure in a wafer fab environment. You will establish MOS/SOP with strong change management, maintain documentation, and partner with Engineering, Operations, and EHS on regulatory compliance.

You will drive risk programs, conduct root-cause analyses, and oversee predictive and preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and uptime.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
Minimum 6 years of related Electrical Engineering experience in wafer fab/semiconductor environments.
Experience in high-volume electronics manufacturing is essential.

Responsibilities

Lead reliability and risk management for electrical infrastructure and MS SOP with change control.
Drive root cause analysis for electrical disturbances and lead maintenance programs in wafer fab facilities.
Plan and review electrical load models, ensure safe energization and commissioning.
Define acceptance criteria and witness critical tests for projects and commissioning.
Monitor power quality and drive energy efficiency improvements across systems.
