Job summary

SHJIANLI (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to support installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems at construction sites in Singapore.

This on-site role requires reading drawings, coordinating with project engineers, and ensuring safety standards are met. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/ITE qualification or similar in Electrical Engineering, with 10 years of relevant experience in construction, M&E, or building

Qualifications

• Diploma, ITE qualification, or technical certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in construction, M&E, or building services.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems at construction sites.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical equipment and systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with project engineers, subcontractors, and site supervisors to meet project requirements.
• Ensure electrical works comply with safety regulations, standards, and project specs.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, and inspection checklists.
• Provide on-site technical support and respond to breakdowns as needed.

Work Location: TUAS (Company-provided shuttle bus service)

Roles & Responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems at construction sites.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical equipment and systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with project engineers, subcontractors, and site supervisors to ensure work is completed according to project requirements.
• Ensure electrical works comply with applicable Singapore safety regulations, electrical standards, and project specifications.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records, inspection checklists, and other relevant documentation.
• Provide on-site technical support and respond to equipment breakdowns when required.

Job Requirements

• Diploma, ITE qualification, or technical certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in the construction, Mechanical and Electrical (M&E), or building services industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, wiring, distribution panels, control panels, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
• Diligent and responsible, with excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Physically fit and willing to work at construction sites.
• Willingness to work overtime or respond to urgent breakdowns when required.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese.
