A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an Electrical Engineer to perform engineering work and assist in designing electrical systems and controls. The ideal candidate has a diploma in Electrical or Power Engineering and experience in electrical installation and maintenance. Proficiency in AUTOCAD is required, along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Few years of relevant electrical working experience required.
• Good knowledge of principles and practices of electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical engineering work, assist in preparation of designs and specifications.
• Assist in testing and inspection activities for electrical systems.
• Draft control/electrical schematic diagrams using AUTOCAD.

Job description

• Perform electrical engineering work, assist in the preparation of designs, plans, specifications, calculation and estimates for electrical equipment/switchboard or control system.
• Assist in testing and inspection activities related to electrical installation, operation and maintenance of electrical system and related works, such as motors, starting equipment, protective devices, and automatic controls
• Assist in drafting of control/electrical schematic diagrams using AUTOCAD

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent in Electrical or Power Engineering with a few years of relevant electrical working experience
• Good knowledge of the principles and practices of electrical engineering; knowledge of electrical codes and test standards; knowledge of electrical engineering CAD drafting
• Good communication and interpersonal skill
