A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an Electrical Engineer, preferably Singaporeans, to design and analyze electrical systems. The role involves leading projects, compliance with industry standards, and requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Ideal candidates will have experience with electrical systems and a passion for electromechanical design. Opportunities for growth in a dynamic team are available.
Design, develop and test electrical systems, components, and equipment using electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, SolidWorks etc.).
Technical lead for selected projects; lead a team of electrical/mechanical/network engineers in project design and delivery.
Conduct detailed analysis and simulation of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and safety.
Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams. Document designs, processes, and system specifications clearly and accurately.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into larger system/projects.
Problem solving, troubleshooting of system and/or subsystem equipment faults, proposing modifications of system and/or subsystem.
Evaluate and select electrical components based on performance, cost, and sustainability.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes and regulations such as electrical safety standards and regulations (SS638, SS555 etc.).
Perform system validation, including testing, debugging and troubleshooting.
Liaise with LEW for endorsements of designs and single line diagrams.
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuit theory, and power distribution and a passion for designing electromechanical systems for both military as well as in the commercial field.
