Position: Electrical Engineer (ES)

Salary: $3,000 to $3,800 + AWS + VB

Working Days: 5days (based on project) ; OT Paid

Working Location: Joo Koon (Transport is provided from 6 MRT pickup points ie: Paya Lebar, Serangoon NEX, Bishan, Jurong East, Joon Koon, Woodlands)

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

  1. To attend to site survey/meetings/discussions with client/contractors/sub-contractors on related matters together with the LEW (when required). Providing feasible solutions and coordinate with owners/users, consultants, vendors/contractors on engineering functional requirements and ensure the objectives are achieved.
  2. Ability to prepare report and method statement whenever necessary. Perform all electrical works in adherence to EMA regulations and guidelines with the LEW supervision
  3. Assisting the PE/LEW to carry out regular site inspections on LT and HT installations to ensure that all maintenance programmes are implemented effectively in strict compliance with instructions and guidelines.
  4. Standby and partnering with LEW in attending to emergency call up services at customer installations. Investigate and determine the root cause of the faults and report (where applicable)
  5. Able to interpret basic schematics and SLD diagrams. Required to take on a Specialist Equipment role, may be sent to receive specialised training and subsequently providing training to internal staff.
  6. Plan and execution of corrective or preventive maintenance programme. Participate in and support Annual Shutdown exercises as and when required. Ensure proper housekeeping of spare parts, equipment and tools.
  7. Assist the LEW in Test and commissioning of electrical system. Provide excellent service to meet client expectations. Ensure all works carried out safely and / or in accordance with safety procedures.
