Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Singapore is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and commission building electrical systems. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience and knowledge of Singapore's building codes. The ideal candidate will lead project site meetings and participate in the Testing & Commissioning of installations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as an Electrical design Consultant.
• Familiar with statutory codes and requirements in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Design and commission building electrical systems including power distribution and lighting.
• Perform electrical load calculations and understand Single Line Diagrams.
• Participate in site meetings and provide client requirements.
• Engage in Testing & Commissioning of electrical installations.

Skills

Understanding of building electrical systems

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering recognized by the PEB of Singapore

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Design and commissioning of building electrical systems including, power distribution, lighting, lightning protection etc.
• Perform Lighting Power Budget calculations.
• Understand and design Single Line Diagram and perform electrical load calculations.
• Understand and familiarize with Singapore authority requirements and adherence to Singapore building code of practices.
• Involve with project site meetings to understand client requirements and site supervision.
• Participate in Testing & Commissioning phase of completed electrical installations.

Experienced Electrical Engineer with minimum 5 years of relevant experience is welcomed to apply.

Requirements

• An electrical engineering degree recognised by the PEB of Singapore.
• Familiar with statutory code and requirements.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience as a Electrical design Consultant in an M&E consultancy firm.
