Job summary

JointHire Singapore Pte Ltd. is seeking a Diploma-qualified Electrical Engineer to oversee site coordination and ensure quality across electrical, building services, and related installations.

You will prepare shop drawings, work with suppliers and contractors, and attend client meetings to ensure timely, compliant project delivery. The role requires 3–5 years in a contractor environment with knowledge of ISO standards and safety practices, including testing, commissioning and district cooling

Qualifications

• 3–5 years relevant experience in contractor environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000, 14001, 45001.
• ISO Internal Quality Auditor.
• Building Construction Safety Supervisor Course.
• Experience in testing and commissioning.
• Experience in district cooling project.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit site solving skill and site coordination to customer.
• Produce shop drawings and coordination of drawings.
• Prepare work schedules and attend client and internal meetings.
• Assist manager on day-to-day activities under master planning schedule, quality, safety.
• Coordinate with main contractor to prevent rework and reduce wastage.
• Check for non-conformance products or installations to avoid defects.
• Communicate with suppliers/subcontractors to reduce delivery delays.

Job Description

• To exhibit site solving skill & site coordination to customer


• To be competent in engineering skill especially in design / knowledge & understanding of code of practice in building services to customer


• Ensure quality of material & installation by suppliers/subcontractors in line with ISO quality plan


• Coordinate, monitor & control of supplier’s materials/equipment & subcontractors installation quality


• Produce shop drawings & coordination of drawings & coordination of drawings etc.


• Prepare work schedules & attend client meeting and internal meeting


• To assist manager on the day to day activities under the master planning schedule, quality, safety etc.


• To control proper coordination with main contractor to prevent rework etc.


• To control site material/equipment so as to reduce wastage


• To communicate closely with suppliers / subcontractors to reduce delivery delay affecting progress


• Check for non-conformance product or installation to avoid defects


• To explore new technology and new installation methods so as to improve productivity level


• Follow up closely on site progress & communicate clearly to subcontractors & supplier

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Compensation

• Site office location: Bedok / Outram


• Working hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am to 5.15pm
