We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer who thrives in a startup environment — hands‑on, resourceful, and ready to take ownership of projects from concept to launch.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Design & Development
- Design, prototype, and validate electrical systems for new consumer electronic products.
- Develop and test analog/digital circuits, PCB layouts, and embedded systems.
- Collaborate with firmware engineers, designers, and product managers to integrate hardware and software seamlessly.
Research & Development (R&D)
- Conduct product teardowns and reverse engineering of competitor products to identify benchmarks, opportunities, and best practices.
- Explore new components, sensors, and technologies to improve product performance and reliability.
- Translate R&D findings into actionable design or manufacturing improvements.
Prototyping & Testing
- Build and evaluate functional prototypes using lab instruments and rapid prototyping tools.
- Perform electrical validation, stress tests, and performance analysis.
- Troubleshoot and debug electrical issues during development and production.
Quality Assurance & Manufacturing Support
- Conduct incoming quality checks, end‑of‑line testing, and failure analysis.
- Develop test procedures and QA documentation to ensure consistency in manufacturing.
- Support vendors and contract manufacturers to ensure design‑for‑manufacturing (DFM) and compliance with safety standards (e.g., CE, FCC, RoHS).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electronic product development (consumer products preferred).
- Strong knowledge of circuit design, PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, Eagle), and embedded systems fundamentals.
- Hands‑on experience with lab instruments (oscilloscopes, multimeters, soldering, etc.).
- Familiarity with firmware development (C/C++ or Arduino) is a plus.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic startup environment.
