Job summary

Qualifications

An electrical engineer in construction

designs, plans, and oversees the installation of power, lighting, andcommunication systems in buildings and infrastructure

. They ensure electrical systems are safe, efficient, cost-effective,and fully compliant with local building codes and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• System Design:Create blueprints and schematics for power distribution, low/medium voltage networks, and lighting using CAD software.
• Site Supervision:Inspect on-site electrical installations to verify quality and adherence to project blueprints.
• Project Coordination:Work alongside architects, mechanical engineers, and general contractors to manage project timelines and resolve site issues.
• Cost Estimation:Calculate material quantities, labor hours, and equipment costs for project budgeting.
• Testing & Commissioning:Run safety diagnostics and system checks before final handover.

Job Requirements & Skills

• Education:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
