About our client

Our client is a leading manufacturer operating in the food and beverage industry.

About the role

Responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of end-to-end production processes, including warehouse, wet and dry processing, batch mixing, packaging, utility systems, and facilities. This role ensures uninterrupted utility supply and engineering services to support manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine operation, routine planned maintenance, and ad-hoc corrective maintenance on utility systems and facilities.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues and identify the root cause of problems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Calibrate and test instruments to ensure accurate readings and functionality.
  • Read and interpret electrical and instrumentation diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to design and implement electrical and instrumentation projects.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with electrical systems and hazardous materials.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
  • Train and guide junior technicians in electrical and instrumentation procedures.
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors/vendors in performing their duties in accordance to procedures.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all maintenance, repair, and service activities in accordance to procedure.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness of work areas.
  • Responsible for following safe working procedures and principles introduced at the workplace:
    Not engaging in any unsafe acts
    Using personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety devices properly
    Not tampering with or misusing safety-related items provided
  • Execute all duties faithfully and responsibly in accordance with written procedures.
  • Immediately report all observations of GMP non-conformances.
  • Take ownership in gaining knowledge and demonstrating expected environmental protection, health, and safety attitude and behavior at the workplace.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Be knowledgeable of applicable Company Quality Standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ensure continuous compliance to GMP in designated areas of responsibility.
  • Immediately report all observations of GMP non-conformances.
Qualifications
  • GCE Level, Technical qualifications, or Diploma in Electrical / Mechatronic / or equivalent
  • Preferably relevant working experience in the operation and maintenance of:
    Pharmaceutical / Food / Petrochemical / Wafer / Semiconductor industries
  • Grade License Electrical Worker Certificate
  • Experience in cGMP, ISO 9001/14001 & OSHA 18001 environment
  • Willingness to work on rotating shifts
