Our client is seeking a E&I Supervisor to join their team!
About Our Client

Our client is a leading producer of Solution-Styrene Butadiene Rubber, a material used to enhance the performance of automobile tires. This role offers excellent prospects for career growth and development in a globally recognized organization.

What you'll be doing?
  • Coordinate daily maintenance: Plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance activities, ensuring efficient execution and timely completion of tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues: Investigate and address faults in electrical and instrumentation systems, implementing both corrective and preventive measures.
  • Manage vendor relationships: Liaise with contractors for day-to-day services and major shutdown maintenance, coordinating work and communicating effectively with production teams.
  • Enhance reliability: Collaborate with production teams and contractors to develop long-term maintenance strategies that improve equipment performance and prevent recurring issues.
  • Optimize inventory management: Monitor spare parts inventory, assist with procurement processes, and ensure adequate supplies for maintenance activities.
  • Maintain documentation: Ensure accurate and timely completion of calibration records, maintenance files, and work orders, adhering to ISO standards and internal SOPs.
  • Promote safety and continuous improvement: Uphold EHS policies, support management systems, and contribute to minimizing Major Accident Hazards.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational background: Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent qualifications that demonstrate your expertise in the field.
  • Relevant experience: At least 5 years of hands‑on experience as a senior technician or supervisor in E&I maintenance within a chemical plant environment.
  • Technical knowledge: Proficiency with DCS and PLC systems, along with a solid understanding of maintenance technology, equipment, instruments, electrical systems, and manufacturing processes.
  • Teamwork and communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Other Information:
  • Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 8:30am - 5:15pm (OT is expected)
  • Working Location: Jurong Island (Transport pick up at Jurong East MRT)
